
Karin’s English Language Lounge provides native speakers of English an environment where they can feel home away from home and the parents rest assure that their children are learning by the Kindergarten Standard of the State of California. We at Karin’s Kids Academy pride ourselves with our wide array of materials that the children can benefit from and at the same time keeping in mind that they are small children and they need to be constantly stimulated through hands-on activities. Our all- English class is taught by a native American speaker, that will help your children evolve their language abilities in a natural way.

LANGUAGE
In kindergarten, students learn the foundational reading and English language arts skills that set them on the path to become lifelong readers, writers, and effective communicators.
MATHEMATICS
Effective mathematics education provides students with a balanced instructional program. In such a program, students become proficient in basic computational skills and procedures, develop conceptual understandings, and become adept at problem solving.
SOCIAL STUDIES
The primary curriculum builds on this knowledge to develop an ever-expanding sense of place within the world. Children shall understand that being a good citizen involves acting a certain way, and that history relates to events, people, and places of other times.

Most children are natural scientists–they enjoy exploring, asking questions, playing with new objects, experimenting with different senses, observing, or using inventions to solve problems. VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS
Kindergarten students dance, sing, act, and paint, exploring their world through their senses and improving their perceptual skills, so important to learning and performing in the arts.
HEALTH
In kindergarten, students learn basic health concepts and skills. They learn how to plan nutritious meals and snacks and the importance of physical activity for good health. They learn that living things grow and about their own body parts and the five senses.
